Lodged.

Built on the public planning register · CC-BY 4.0

Every planning application lodged in your county, in your inbox by 7am.

Someone applies to build a house, extend a kitchen, put up a slatted shed or change a shop into a café. It goes on the council's register. Lodged reads all 26 counties every night and sends the ones that match your trade, before the site notice goes up on the gate.

Free during launch. No app to install, no contract, no lead-fees.

Site notice

178 applications lodged across Ireland in the last 7 days.

8,123 on file, latest received 29/09/2026. Refreshed nightly from the National Planning Applications Database.

For trades & professionals

Leads before the site notice goes up

Builders, groundworks, agri-shed erectors, electricians, window and kitchen fitters, architects and engineers. Whole counties, filtered by trade, every morning. From €15 a month.

For neighbours & landowners

Know what's planned around you

Drop a pin on your house or the home place and pick a radius. An extension next door, a site up the road getting outline permission, farmland going for housing or a commercial yard: you hear the morning it's lodged, with the council file and the objection deadline a tap away. €4 a month.

Straight questions

Where does the data come from?
The National Planning Applications Database, published by the Department of Housing and Tailte Éireann under a CC-BY 4.0 licence. All 31 planning authorities feed it. Some councils are a day or two behind, a few are slower; each county page shows the latest date we have.
Is this a lead-selling service that charges per lead?
No. It's a flat monthly subscription for a filtered feed of public information. Nobody is charged per contact, and we don't collect or sell applicant names.
Will I see garden rooms and solar panels?
Mostly not. Works that are exempt from planning (small extensions, garden rooms under 30m², domestic solar) never reach the register. What you will see is everything that needed permission: new houses, larger extensions, farm buildings, commercial changes of use, housing schemes and retention applications.
I just want to know what my neighbours are at. Is that allowed?
It's the same information as the yellow notice on the gate, and the same register the council keeps for exactly this reason: so people nearby can see what's proposed and have their say. Lodged saves you the drive. Every item links to the council file, which explains how to make a submission and by when.
Can it tell me if a farmer is selling sites?
Not directly, but the tell-tales are on the register: outline permission is what you get to sell a site with permission attached, and change of use from agricultural to residential or commercial is the first public step in a land deal. The Sites & land filter picks those out.
How do I contact the applicant?
The council file (linked from every item) shows the agent or architect on the application. That's the professional route: ring the agent, not the householder.
Is this planning advice?
No. Lodged repeats what councils publish and helps you find it. For anything that matters, read the council's file.
